MorrisonDance and Antaeus Dance open the annual Arts in August dance series in Lincoln Park in Tremont

Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 8:30PM

Two companies in one night, FREE! Bringing a blanket, cushions, or lawn chairs is strongly advised. Picnics are welcome.

In honor of this fully staged Tremont appearance, MorrisonDance will present Radke’s Melancholy Chromosomes in celebration of Scott Radke’s artistic contributions to the Tremont neighborhood over the past 10 years. Additionally, those of you who dine (or serve!) in Tremont will enjoy the whimsical Tray Magnifique, featuring waitresses who transform their trays into mirrors, cars and drum kits! The evening will also highlight a recent premiere from the 2009 Ingenuity Festival: Goethe’s Color Theory, a collaboration with multimedia artist Kendra Minadeo.
