WHAT: Presented by the University Park Development Corporation (UPDC), the University Park Art Fair at Grace Park is a one-day fine art and fine craft event to be held August 18, 2007 in the heart of the University Park district in downtown Akron. Expected to draw more than 100 artists and thousands of guests, the fair will feature ceramics, glass, wearable art, furniture, drawings & graphics, fiber, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, watercolor, wood art and more.
In addition, there will be a large-scale, community participation art project, entertainment and a food and beverage pavilion. Admission is free.

Cleveland Int'l Film Festival 3.15—3.25

Our friend Sarah Morrison is celebrating 10 years of her dance company MorrisonDance throughout this weekend at Cleveland Public Theatre (Gordon Square Theatre, 6415 Detroit Rd.). Tix are $10—$18. Thurs—Sat. 8pm and Sun. 3pm. The Sunday matinee is the one I'm contemplating.
