VOTE for Issue 8! 11.3

VOTE for Issue 8! On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, Cuyahoga County voters will have the opportunity to continue their support for our Arts and Culture sector by voting for Issue 8 and renewing the Arts & Culture Levy. Passing this renewal will NOT increase taxes or prices, but will help fund institutions in and around Cleveland devoted to bringing the arts to the community.

Cuyahoga Arts & Culture distributes these funds, supporting 300 organizations—including Cleveland Institute of Music, The Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Play House and the Cleveland Museum of Art—and more than 2,500 locations.

Spread the word: Vote Nov. 3rd!

Tremont Arts & Culture Fest 9.19–9.20 Lincoln Park

Many artists still live and work in Tremont, including some who have shown their work outside Cleveland. 18 of these artists were invited to be showcased in a special area at this year’s Tremont Arts & Cultural Festival in Lincoln Park, apart from the artists and craftspeople selected by the jurors to have booths at the festival.

Tim Herron will be painting a model,” says longtime Tremont-based painter Rob Hartshorn, “Giancarlo Calicchia will be chinking away at a marble sculpture. The art will be for sale and the artists don’t have to be there.” Other artists participating include Hartshorn, Duda, Jeff Chiplis, Bruce Checefsky, Tina Cassara, Bruce Edwards, Hillary Gent, Patsy Kline, Lila Rose Kole, Ashley Mankin, Steve Mastroianni, Chris Pekoc, Angelica Pozo, Kari Solomon, Heather Diana Vaselaney and Laila Voss.
