A reminder that Debbie has 'rented a small house in the middle of the woods near the Madison wineries on the Grand River. It sleeps 8. Lots of little trails, things to look at and paint, easy access to wine. It will be the peak of leaf color. People are invited to spend the day, come for dinner at the winery Saturday night sleep over and stay all Sunday. Or just come Sunday. It is all potluck. I will have a boom box for music, a book to read, my oils, a big pot of coffee going and some bakery and simple snacks. It is in the park called hogback ridge as a part of Lake Metro Parks.'
Go Route 90 headed east, exit in Madison at Route 528 and go south until you see the brown park directional signs for HogBack Ridge Park and follow the signs. It can be seen on http:www.lakemetroparks.com and click on the link for cabin rentals, STRONG CABIN, for description and more directions.
Rental starts Friday afternoon, Oct. 13 and ends Sunday night, Oct. 15. Asking for a free will donation if you spend the night to help defray the costs.
Rumor has it that I'll be out there Saturday along with some people that may or may not speak French! Sacre Bleu!
