Cleveland West Arts League Show @78th St. Studios

Cleveland West Arts League: Populous Landscapes. Arlo Moon and Raphael Valdivieso paint symbolically rich canvases with high population density, but to different ends. Moon makes use of a Chagall-like palette of white, green, and primaries to create realistic faces and storybook imagery. Valdivieso summons crowds of brown- and gray-clad figures crowned in halos, creating troops of could-be saints. An opening reception will be held Friday, September 21st from 6–10PM.
