James Turrell to Receive National Medal of Arts

'Artist of Light' James Turrell will be awarded a 2013 National Medal of Arts next week by President Barack Obama at the White House. Chosen for his groundbreaking visual art that captures the powers of light and space, the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh houses two of his works in its permanent collection.
