Inspired by centuries-old, cross-cultural traditions of ceremonial lighting displays, the Winter Lights Lantern Festival features lantern displays inside the Cleveland Museum of Art and Wade Oval's Environment of Lights installation. Holiday CircleFest is a FREE annual Circle-wide celebration presented by University Circle Inc. The museum offers an array of activities and entertainment, including workshops for making simple lanterns for the procession. The day culminates in a procession through the Environment of Lights led by illuminated dancers and giant puppets.
