Morgan Conservatory's 8th annual benefit and silent auction is THIS Saturday. You don't want to miss Rock Paper Scissors: Get Your Mojo Movin' At The Morgan! The entire space will be available for dancing, partying, eating and more!Distinguished couture designer, Joan Yellen Horvitz will feature timeless paper fashions, up for auction! She describes her designs as functional and easy to wear, well-proportioned soft and understated with easy curves.
Also featured in the auction are a dress created by Morgan Conservatory's Artist in Residence, Aimee Lee, a fabulous kimono by international designer Julie McLaughlin, unique jewelry by Debra Rosen, along with fashion-forward designs by students of Virginia Marti College.
Other items on auction will include works in traditional art forms that have been created for this event on handmade Morgan paper, vintage works donated by local art collectors, a variety of art collectibles and entertainment, sporting and dining packages.
