American Fiber: Friday, March 31, 6 – 9PM

The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation is proud to present American Fiber, their fifth annual and first national juried exhibition. After many years of hosting regional juried exhibitions, and after many years of requests, submissions from all artists living in the United States for this year's exhibition were accepted.

The show features works in sculpture, printmaking, photography and painting that are unified by their use of paper as an artistic medium. This year, 205 artworks from 110 artists living in 18 states were received with 50 artworks from 46 artists being selected.

The aim of exhibition is to showcase the versatility of paper as an artistic medium and to bring together striking and evocative work by leaders in this art form.  You're invited to help kick off the 2017 gallery season at the opening reception for American Fiber: Friday, March 31, 6 – 9PM.
