Morgan Conservatory: Introduction to Letterpress

Good friend Wendy Partridge is teaching this class at the Morgan Conservatory. There's an Early Registration Discount which will save you 10% off of your tuition on this and other paper/printmaking workshops if you register on or before April 15th.

With the guidance of Wendy Partridge, you will learn how to set type and print posters using the Morgan Conservatory’s astonishing supply of wood type and cool collection of engravings. You will be printing with the Morgan’s Show Card Proof Presses which can be mastered in a day. At the end of the class you will have printed multi-color, collaborative posters containing favorite words and phrases.

The workshop will also introduce participants to the set up and rules of the Morgan’s letterpress printing studio so that you can continue your letterpress exploration during open studio programs and other workshops.

We have a cart style check out this year to make it easier for you to register for more then one workshop or register more then one person for an individual workshop without having to go through the payment process multiple times.
