'Transition' at HEDGE Gallery 4.18, 5–9PM

HEDGE Gallery presents “TRANSITION”, Jason Alexander Byers' recent art projects featuring tar and paper series and target themed collages. Building on his fascination with cityscapes and skylines, he traces the positive and negative space of New York City’s churches using tar, watercolors, and india ink, reminiscent of a 'pop culture' Rorschach inkblot. While not strictly iconoclastic, his most recent projects "call to question an obsessive fascination with buildings and the ideas inside them."
