Breathe II exhibit opens 6.25, Artists Reception Saturday, 7.10

The Log Cabin Gallery in Peninsula, Ohio, will open the Breathe II exhibit beginning this Friday, June 25, and running Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through August 1. 

Hours are 11AM – 5PM. A Meet the Artists reception is Saturday, July 10, 5 –7PM 

Diane Taninecz will be gallery sitting on Friday, July 2, and attending the artists reception. Stop by and say hello!

In July one of the LARGEST drum circles that Northeast Ohio has ever seen or heard is happening at Edgewater Park in Cleveland.

Open to all! Featuring Baba Jubal's Inner Peace Drum Circle, Cindy Hill's Samba Joia!, The Cleveland Drum Circle and drummers and dancers from Akron, Youngstown, Columbus and other parts of the region.

Eco-Friendly exhibits about climate change, green, sustainable and organic products and services will also be on display. (Note: because this is a state park, our permit does NOT allow cash transactions.)

If you are interested in hosting a booth for the day and being a part of this community event as an Eco-Friendly exhibitor, please reply to atdeirdregarvey@hotmail.com or call 440.220.0125. There is no fee to participate as an exhibitor, but you must provide your own display.

Drummers and dancers, please rsvp on our facebook event page, so we have a good head count.

If you don't have your own drum, or have never drummed before, don't let that stop you. Box drums for the public  use will be available and One World Rhythms will be taught. Simply bring your presence (and a chair), open your heart to drum/dance as One. — Deirdre

Entertainment includes reggae by Dubflex (6PM), Swamp boogie with Cats on Holiday (7:45PM) and a FREE screening of The Wizard of OZ (at Dusk.) Parade The Circle This Saturday! 6.12

The 21st Annual Parade the Circle Celebration will take place this Saturday, June 12th. Meet us near the Crawford Auto Museum for the best sight lines.

Bring the family to University Circle to enjoy a FREE celebration of the creative spirit. Festivities begin at 11AM, parade at Noon (sharp) and entertainment, food and activities for the whole family in Circle Village until 4PM.

THIS FREE COMMUNITY ARTS PARADE is presented annually by the Cleveland Museum of Art. International and national guest artists join Greater Cleveland artists, families, schools and community groups in a spectacular display of bright costumes, giant puppets, stilt-dancers, handmade masks and colorful floats (ALL people-powered.).

Little Italy 'Venetian Carnival' Art Walk June 4,5,6

There will be an Open House during Art Walk hours at Tricia Kaman Studio/Gallery2026 Murray Hill Rd #202, Cleveland OH 
Featuring: Recent Original Paintings by Tricia Kaman, local Student Art Show, Venetian Masks by Fernando Cano, and Textiles by Kim Di Lalla
Tricia Kaman Studio/Gallery was instrumental in obtaining a Neighborhood Connections grant for Little Italy. The Venetian Carnival is a collaboration between local school students and teachers, local artists, and The Little Italy Merchants. Check out our web site and our video for more info.
ThTricia Kaman Studio has been the home of the Venetian Carnival Workshops over the past two months. These workshops helped prepare the neighborhood for this special weekend. Don’t miss the 2PM parade Saturday & Sunday!
