Dr. Sketchy’s Anti Art School is back at The Beachland Ballroom with a new model and a 'kick-ass' theme. The new model for your drawing pleasures is Janet Jay. Theme will be: celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Video GameWith three rounds of poses; a warm up round of one and two-minute poses, some five and ten-minute poses, breaks, and as many long poses (15-20 minute) as can fit along with prizes and contests. Dry mediums only; pen and ink, markers, crayons, pencils, graphite, pastels, etc.

New Video for Domestic Abuse Campaign

The Film, 'Can't See You: The Loss and Preservation of Innocence', technically a music video, is 'more of an intense and emotional short film for Stealing Heather's second single, "Can't See You". Centered around a young girl's tragic life filled with domestic abuse, we watch her grow up in a world that tries to destroy her innocence, while her mental state begins to spiral out of control.'—Jushua Aaron

Dreamworks and Art Blocks for Ghana

Nicolas Weis' fellow 'Dreamworks'er, Margaret Wuller, has organized an online charity event to build a school in Ghana. Artists from Dreamworks, Pixar, Disney and Sony are painting wood blocks for this benefit. Here's her blogthe ebay auction site which began Saturday and Nicolas' contribution. The Free Clinic's Rock & Reggae Festival Friday, 3.11 7:30PM—2AM

It's the return of The Free Clinic's Rock & Reggae Festival this Friday, March 11th from 7:30PM—2AM. Suggested Donation of ONLY $10. Join in on a great evening of local music and art in support of The Free Clinic! This year utilizes both the Ballroom and the Tavern as the Free Clinic's popular Rock & Reggae Festival is resurrected. You can purchase tickets  through the Beachland.

Long-time Free Clinic friends and supporters Carlos Jones & The PLUS Band are headlining in the Ballroom and The TwistOffs will be headlining in the Tavern. Additionally, we will be joined in the Ballroom by Outlaws I & I (featuring former members of First Light) and Big Ship (featuring former members of Oroboros) will perform in the Tavern.

Waterloo 7/Schmidt Sculpture will produce and support the raffle and silent auction.
