5th Annual Akron Art Prize 9.3

Kick off the start of the 5th Annual Akron Art Prize with a party in the parking lot Saturday, Sept. 3rd from 5–9PM. 

Come for food, drinks, and live entertainment before or after you view all of the 2016 entries inside Summit Artspace. 

Food by Square Scullery and Stray Dog Cart. Cash bar courtesy of Thirsty Dog Brewing Company and NORKA and entertainment from 6–8PM by The Dreemers. Be sure to hop on the trolley to visit the Downtown Akron Artwalk venues as well!

April Vollmer @Morgan 8.26, 6:30–8PM

The Morgan Conservatory is pleased to host April Vollmer, an artist and printmaker living in New York City who specializes in mokuhanga, Japanese woodcut. In addition to exhibiting her work internationally, she has taught workshops across the country and was on the board of the First and Second International Mokuhanga Conferences in Japan. Copies of April's book, Japanese Woodblock Print Workshop, will be available for purchase and signing.
