Rock N' Roll Flea Market 12–6PM 12.10

If you’re looking for collectible movie posters, vinyl records, cool thrift-store style threads, fabulously funky furniture, and that old-school style that’s never really left, look no further than the Beachland’s daytime Rock n’ Roll Flea Market. Take a trip into one of Cleveland’s best indie approaches to holiday shopping. Bar and kitchen open all day. Please this is a monthly Walk All Over Waterloo day, so lots of deals and events up and down the street. 30+ Vendors selling vintage items of all kinds, records, CDs, books, art, antiques, odd and unusual stuff * Great X-Mas gifts! The Rock n’ Roll Flea Market runs from 12 – 6PM in the Ballroom.

TangoNovo, a nuevo tango experience! 12.9

Friday, December 9th come to TangoNovo, a nuevo tango experienceto dance to a variety of modern tango music (with some traditional favorites too) in a high energy, club style atmosphere with custom lighting.

'If you're interested in learning to tango, please come at 8PM. We'll use the first part of the lesson to work on fundamental concepts, then we'll introduce more complex "nuevo" steps in the second half.' Hosted by KB and Carmen and Umberto Amante every 2nd Friday of the month.

8–9PM: Tango Lesson with KB and Carmen
9PM–midnight: Dancing
$10 per person, BYOB

CMA Lantern Festival and Holiday CircleFest 12.4

The Cleveland Museum of Art's Winter Lights Lantern Festival features artist lantern displays inside the museum and the Environment of Lights installation on Wade Oval. The museum joins its University Circle neighbors for Holiday CircleFest, an annual free community open house, presented by University Circle Inc. The museum offers an array of activities including lantern-making workshops and a lantern procession.
