Time Bandits at Cedar Lee and Capitol 9.24


Saturday, September 24th at 4PM there will be a showing of a new digital restoration of Terry Gilliam's 1981 film Time Bandits, in which a young boy accidentally joins a band of dwarves as they jump from era to era looking for treasure to steal. Rated PG. Part of Art House Theatre Day.

Locations: Capitol Theatre and the Cedar Lee Theatre.

The theme of the 12TH ANNUAL IngenuityFest is AWAKENINGS and it starts a new chapter for the organization. This time located in the SAINT CLAIR-SUPERIOR neighborhood in the former Osborne Industrial Complex. Join us for three days of art, installations, performances, food, local and regional bands, creativity and innovation!

The Print Club of Cleveland invites you to attend the 32nd Annual Fine Print Fair, September 22–25, 2016. The Fair is free and open to the public.

The Fine Print Fair, Cleveland’s largest and most comprehensive exhibition of fine prints, begins Thursday, September 22, 2016 with an opening night benefit preview and continues Friday, September 23 from 11AM to 6PM, Saturday, September 24th from 10AM to 5PM, and Sunday, September 25th from 
10AM to 5PM in the Ames Family Atrium at the Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio. The Fine Print Fair benefits the Department of Prints at the Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) and is sponsored by the Print Club of Cleveland, a non-profit adjunct organization dedicated to supporting the museum’s print collection.

Steampunk Railroad Event 9.24 8PM

All aboard the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic RailroadThe 765 Steam Engine is in town! Join us for a fun filled, steam punk themed event at Fitzwater Train Yard. Climb aboard for a quick ride to the train yard for an evening filled with live music, games, and delicious food! All guests will have the opportunity to photograph the steam engine and enter into costume contests where the top three winners will receive a prize! Guests are encouraged to wear steam punk inspired clothing.

2016 CMA Chalk Festival 9.17–9.18


Children and adults alike enjoy the annual CMA Chalk Festival. Community members join professional artists in using the walkways around the Fine Arts Garden as a colorful canvas. Begun in 1990, our festival is a modern expression of a Renaissance tradition from 16th-century Italy in which beggars copied paintings of the Madonna by Raphael and his contemporaries, using chalk on the plazas outside cathedrals. Watching the chalk artists and enjoying the entertainment is free.

Morgan Conservatory's Ninth Annual Benefit 10.1


You're invited! The Morgan Conservatory's Ninth Annual Benefit takes place Saturday, October 1st! The event starts at 6:30 pm and will feature a silent art auction with more than one hundred pieces of art, including works by both local and national artists alike, special live papermaking demos, hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, live music, courtesy of Syncopated Sin Swing Band, with special guest Ernie Krivda, and so much more! Advance tickets are available.
Above all, their Annual Benefit is the single-largest fundraiser the organization develops each year and helps bring more than sixty workshops, exhibitions and special events to their audiences annually.

Tickets for the Ninth Annual Benefit for Morgan Conservatory members are $30. Non-members $35. Student tickets (with valid ID) are just $10.
Special VIP access is also available! These tickets provide both the ultimate support for the organization as well as special VIP perks including an "early access" preview of the event at 5:30 p.m.—a perfect opportunity to take advantage of our "buy it now" option for artwork, as well as specialty hors d'oeuvres and an inclusive VIP Lounge.
