LAST DAYS! Kimono as Art: The Landscapes of Itchiku Kubota

April 26th is THE LAST DAY for this astonishingly beautiful exhibition in Canton, Kimono as Art: The Landscapes of Itchiku Kubota (1917–2003). Kimono are treated as brilliantly textured canvases celebrating the exquisite beauty of nature. About 25 kimono placed side by side portray the changing seasons of autumn and winter in a Symphony of Light. The San Diego Times praised it as “the best exhibit of the year”.
