2010 Arts Business and Innovation Awards

The COSE Arts Business and Innovation Awards recognize the intersection between the art and business worlds. These Cleveland artist awards are the only art and business awards of their kind in our region. Applicants and nominees can include an artist, artists’ group or arts-based business achieving success by demonstrating sound business practices or a small business (non arts-based) that invests time and resources into creative partnerships benefiting the arts.

Art and Business Awards Categories:

The Individual Artist: an artist, or arts-based business of one, that has achieved career success using sound business practices and planning.

The Arts Business: an arts-based small business of two or more employees that has achieved career success using sound business practices and planning. Both for profit and nonprofit companies are eligible.

The Young Arts Entrepreneur: a creative professional (recent arts program graduate or early stage entrepreneur) that has taken steps toward establishing an arts business by creating an executive summary highlighting their mission statement, goals and objectives.

The Arts and Culture Community Champion: a small business (non arts-based) that has invested time and resources into creative partnerships with the arts for the benefit of both the art entities and their own company.

The COSE ABI Awards will begin accepting applications on January 12. Both nominations and self applications for these Cleveland artist awards are encouraged. All applications are due by 5PM March 2.
