CIM Celebrates MOCA's Carnegie Finale 3.31

On Saturday, March 31 at 7:30PM, Cleveland Institute of Music concludes this season's Harmonic Hues New Music concert series at MOCA Cleveland, with a performance of Morton Feldman's epic four-hour For Philip Guston. This delicate, hypnotic and ravishing late work by one of the last century's most eclectic composers is the centerpiece of an evening of celebration as MOCA closes its 8501 Carnegie Avenue location and prepares to move to University Circle.

While CIM alumni Madeline Lucas (flute), Brian Sweigart (percussion) and Shuai Wang (keyboards) perform inside, The End Is Nigh/A New Beginning is Imminent, a performance artwork by Ben Kinsley, occurs outside.

Join us in a final toast to MOCA at midnight, concluding an evening of artwork, music and community.
