Morgan Conservatory's Benefit Saturday 10.5

Kick off the Fall art season by attending the Morgan Conservatory's Benefit and Silent Art Auction. The fun starts at 6PM, Saturday, October 5th as we toast to 6 successful years of workshops, exhibitions, and community. Enjoy live music, sample hors d'oeuvres table and with drink in hand make your way to the hand papermaking, bookbinding, and letterpress demonstrations, and don't forget the famous 'Snail Mail/Paper Trail' art auction wall; just grab a pen and start bidding! Each year the Morgan invites local and nationally known artists to create new works of art using our handmade paper created specifically for this event. This year they expect to have over 120 art pieces for you to bid on.

There is a variety of other artwork to bid on and many surprise items. Annually attended by over 350 people, this is their one big fundraiser of the year. $25 per guest (Morgan members $20 per guest). Event Parking: East 45th St. off Payne (45th is a one-way street running south).

This event is part of Octavofest, northeast Ohio's month long celebration of book and paper arts.
