Summer 2014 CAN Journal Launch / Undercurrents Closing Reception 5.23, 6–9PM

Since early this year, CAN has planned to launch its Summer 2014 issue Friday, May 23rd at Loren Naji Studio Gallery. The Board of Liquor Control raid and events orchestrated to shut the gallery down have not changed this plan.

Please join in the launch of the Summer issue of Northeast Ohio's collaborative, gallery-driven art magazine, to show support for Loren Naji, and to celebrate Undercurrents, the exhibit of works by Steve Ehret, Bob Peck, and Ron Copeland, which was marred by the raid during its opening reception.

This issue of CAN Journal includes: a forward-looking story about galleries and liquor laws; Fred Bidwell's answer to our previous story about the May Show; Henry Adams' article about Cleveland-born Monuments Man James Rorimer, and Douglas Max Utter's behind-the-scenes look at Cleveland Arts Prize judging, Herb Ascherman's ArtFace portrait of Augusto Bordelois, as well as a multitude of summer event previews, and festival listings.

Invite your contacts. Bring your friends.

Friday, May 23rd from 6–9PM
