The Cleveland Film Society is proud to present the next two of eleven deliciously delightful Film (And Other) Arts Feasts! Don’t wait to reserve your spot. These hip happenings are sure to sellout but space is still available.

FILM (AND OTHER ARTS) FEASTS are underway! Space is limited so purchase your tickets today.

The Glass House
Saturday, November 11, 7:30 p.m.
$50 per guest / limit 50 guests
Host: David K. Ream

As a self-taught glass artist, Brian Benchek (www.brianbenchek.com) founded Burning River Glass in downtown Cleveland to create an environment for himself and other glass artists. Brian currently teaches glass blowing at the Teacher Resource Center at the Cleveland Museum of Art, where his work was featured in the NEO Show. Brian's body of work now ranges from organic forms, blown and cold worked, which incorporate fused metal, to large contemporary chandeliers and installations comprised of hundreds to thousands of individual blown glass components.

Join us at Burning River Glass for an opportunity to see inside the studio and to learn about the art of contemporary glass blowing, including demonstrations. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Food for Thought
Wednesday, November 15, 7:30 p.m.
$50 per guest / limit 50 guests
Hosts: Jeff Baddeley and Joe Arezone

Feast! Magazine editor Laura Taxel and two food writers and regular contributors, Marilou Suszko and Carla Snyder, dish up the real story about what they do as culinary professionals... besides eat! They'll chat about their adventures... and misadventures in the kitchen and in the food biz. The menu also includes a side order of behind the scenes stories featuring the most amusing, amazing, and appalling things they've experienced in the line of duty, plus things they've learned along the way to make cooking and entertaining a true pleasure. These three will be joined by Bob Sferra, chef and director of culinary education at the Viking Store, for a demo of some great appetizers to serve for the holidays. All the panelists will be available for questions.

Don’t delay, space is limited! For full details or to purchase tickets visit www.clevelandfilm.org or call Debby at 216.623.3456 x10.

The Cleveland Film Society is responsible for bringing the Cleveland International Film Festival to life every year. Your support of these fundraisers will help keep that vision alive.
