“A Parade of Skulls and Skeletons”

Salvador Gonzalez in collaboration with Café Bellas Artes, Artistas Latinos Independientes (ALI) Committee and St. Clair Superior Development Corporation are sponsoring a parade that will take place on October 28 to commemorate the Day of the Dead. The "Parade of Skeletons and Skulls" will start at 5 p.m. at Convivium 33 Gallery at Josaphat Arts Hall located at 1433 East 33rd Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44114.

With this tradition in mind, 13 artists from the greater Cleveland community have come together to share their artistic visions of an "ofrenda."  Each "ofrenda" reflects the artist's personal beliefs and interpretation of a traditional offering in honor of his or her departed loved ones.

The "ofrendas" will be on display for public viewing on Saturday, October 28, from Noon to 10pm at Josaphat Arts Hall: Convivium 33 Gallery, 1433 East 33rd Street, Cleveland, Ohio, 44114. The exhibition is open to the public and admission is free.
