The Burning River Roller Girls return with a special exhibition, Black & Blue 4 – Whip It Good!in their new home, the Wolstein Center Saturday, November 7th.Skaters are selected from all four home teams (Rolling Pin-Ups, Cleveland Steamers, Hellbombers and Hard Knockers) and mixed for a two-team match-up, Black vs. Blue. During halftime, the league’s newest recruits (AKA Fresh Meat) must pass an annual rite of passage – full contact musical chairs.
Giving the classic game a violent, on-skates twist, the Fresh Meat will prove if they can skate with the big girls during this no-holds barred fight to the finish that you won’t want to miss. Will the Black team keep their trophy? Will there be a blue team upset this year? Who will be crowned Full Contact Musical Chair Queen? Find out on Saturday, November 7 at the Wolstein Center.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the bout (consisting of two 30-minute periods and a 20-minute halftime) starts rolling at 6 p.m. Check back for ticket information soon!
