Morgan Conservatory: 6th National Collegiate Handmade Paper Art Triennial 5.13

Join The Morgan Paper Conservatory for the Opening Reception of the 6th National Collegiate Handmade Paper Art Triennial, Friday, May 13th, 6:30–8:30PM.
Fresh from the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design, the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation is proud to present these 21 amazing works of art by college students from across the country that fill an entire gallery. It will change your definition of what can be created with handmade paper.

Founded in 1999, the Triennial offers college students a way to show the country what they add to the field of handmade paper art. Jurors represent the most exciting curators, artists, and galleries involved in the field. Exhibition venues are located in diverse university galleries, museums, and art centers around the country. Awards and special residencies are awarded to student artists in recognition of their accomplishments in working with their own handmade paper. Sponsors of the awards include papermaking centers and materials suppliers across the U.S.

The Juror for the Triennial was Ms. Joan Hall, Professor Emeritus of the Sam Fox School of the Arts at Washington University, St. Louis.
